Babel is pleased to announce it has continued to expand its profile, partnerships and client base in Japan and Korea, as part of its strategy to be a truly global games services company.
Following a very successful presence at the Tokyo game show, organised by Babel’s Tokyo office staff, where Babel signed 5 new projects, Babel is pleased to announce it has formed a partnership with the leading market intelligence company Enterbrain. Under terms of the partnership Babel will supply focus testing and localisation services to Enterbrain’s customer base.

Babel continues to work closely with its Tokyo based partner Entalize, the leading English to Japanese localisation company, with several new joint projects in discussion. The success of the partnership and Babel’s own presence via its Tokyo office has lead to a 50% increase in the number of Japanese clients.

Babel is also pleased to announce that is speaking at the Korean Games Conference in Seoul October 7th to 9th. Babel’s Dami Kim, a Korean localisation expert, who will be presenting a session on how Korean developers can optimise their localisation process, the costly pitfalls, what to look for in an outsourcing company and the difference between a delivery partner who really knows how to help make successful games for the west and a generic word-for-word translation vendor.
