Sony to launch NEW PlayStation 3 slim?

Hovering around the ‘net today are these curious pictures of a rather plastic looking, but totally slim PlayStation 3 console.

The image looks a bit blurred. Redesigning and condensing the insides of the PlayStation 3 could bring the price down.
