Hood: Outlaws & Legends opens pre-orders and announces release date

Every game of Hood: Outlaws & Legends starts with two teams of four players, fighting each other and the State to find, steal, and return the riches unfairly taken from the people. Alongside early access from May 7, pre-ordering also comes with the Forest Lords cosmetic pack for free. The Forest Lords pack includes a skin for each character and weapon in the game. The Year 1 edition is also available for pre-order, giving access to Hood and three Battle Passes due to be released post-launch, after the initial free Season.

Yorkshire Games Festival 2021: Online Game Talks

Tickets for the Yorkshire Games Festival 2021 are on sale now for the 2021 Yorkshire Games Festival’s Game Talks. The talks will be returning for their fifth edition on 5 February 2021, with a packed programme featuring high-profile industry guests.

In order to provide a safe experience in line with Covid-19 guidelines, next year’s festival will look a little different to previous editions, with some events, including the ever popular Game Talks, moving online for audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their homes – so sweatpants are optional!

Firmly established as a high point of the festival, the impressive line-up of Game Talks will be hosted by festival friends Jordan Erica Webber (podcast host and presenter of The Gadget Show) and Keith Stuart (author and journalist for The Guardian).

Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures re-released on PC

Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures is available once again to fans and new players for PC on Steam, GOG.com, Robot Cache, and Green Man Gaming for $14.99 USD. Originally released throughout 2009, the Wallace & Gromit re-release is part of Telltale’s strategy to bring many of its “classic” games back online, which includes the reissue of Tales of Monkey Island earlier this summer.

Based on the award-winning Aardman characters, Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures is a point-and-click interactive story series comprising four episodes, each seeing the affable inventor and his loyal dog through madcap exploits full of mishaps and humour.
