Grow, Evolve and Battle in new Automega online FPS

Atomega takes place at the very end of time where reality is rapidly dissolving. All that exists are Exoforms, super advanced post-biological lifeforms, masters of matter, energy and the last distant relative to man and machine. As the laws of physics slowly repeal, the Exoforms fight for fun and dominance, replaying the final moments of the universe in an arena at the edge of destruction.

The player must acquire mass, by peacefully collecting it or via firefights, to evolve his Exoform from the nimble Atom to the godlike Omega. Competing for mass, players engage in a frantic battle for supremacy through intense 10-minute rounds, gathering up to eight players. Acquiring mass also grants points and the player with the most points at the end of the round wins. It is a relentlessly competitive experience, an easy to pick-up but hard to master game, with a light-hearted tone echoing the personality of its small development team.

Uncharted 4 problems in new book Blood, Sweat, and Pixels

Jason Schrier’s recently released book Blood, Sweat, and Pixels offers an interesting insight into Uncharted 4‘s development.

Uncharted 4, as Hennig envisioned it, would introduce the world to Nathan Drake’s old partner, Sam. We hadn’t seen Sam in previous Uncharted games, because for fifteen years Nathan had thought he was dead, left behind during a Panamanian prison escape gone awry. In Hennig’s version of Uncharted 4, Sam would be one of the main villains, bitter toward Nathan for leaving him to die.

Why Japan sells Xbox Ones not as games console but Blu-Ray player

In Japan the Xbox One has panned selling only 100 in some weeks. The total number of Xbox Ones sold in Japan (population 127 million) totals just 76,000!

Retailers have tried lots of ways to move more Xbox One S systems, the latest is to sell the console as an Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player.

Why L.A. Noire is $10 more on Switch than XOne & PS4

Rockstar, not known for their support of Nintendo platforms, will release L.A. Noire on Switch on November 14th along side the PS4 and XOne versions. The game will retail at $49.99 that's $10 more than the other versions - why?

The official reason is the cost of putting the game on a flash card instead of disc. All very well but why would the download version be more expensive? It doesn't make sense to me. Nintendo have always charged a premium, why? because they can.

Cuphead animated game coming to PC Xone

Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!
