A 1.0.1.4 patch should be released soonish. It's unknown what else it will address, but it is confirmed that it will attempt to address some stuttering issues people have been having.

Game crashing on initial start or at the language selection screen for some people:
  • Most instances of this appear to be caused by systems being set to use surround sound. Setting your system audio to Stereo may solve this, or otherwise disabling surround sound.
  • Unplugging headsets may resolve this, but if you need to use your headset then you'll want to go into your system's audio control panel and see if you can configure your headset to use Stereo (some headsets use surround).
  • If you have any software associated with your headset installed, you can try updating it, as this as helped some users.
