New Nintendo DSi the DSi LL with bigger screen - first images and spec...

Nintendo has announced that, less than a year after the launch of the DSi, a brand new, bigger, better DSi is on the way. We had already heard that a DSi with a bigger screen was coming, but today we have been given the new system's name, as well as the first images and specs.

The DSi LL will be getting a chunkier stylus, but aside from that, standalone pics of the system don't make it look any different from your average DSi. However, put it next to an older model and the significant size difference is clear. The DSi LL is ludicrously larger than the DSi.

No problem buying a Nintendo Wii this Christmas as sales bubble bursts...

In the half year to the end of September sales were down by 40% compared with the year before. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has no option but to admit: “Nintendo Wii has stalled.” He even admitted that the price drop has failed to arrest the decline: “With the price drop, sales returned to a certain level, but they just did not reach the level of last year around this time”. Which was all as inevitable as night follows day.

Doom Classic video game out now on iPhone and iPod Touch

The official iPhone and iPod touch port of id Software's Doom is now available.

Priced at $6.99, the 76.8MB download packs a total of 36 levels across four episodes: Knee-Deep in the Dead, Shores of Hell, Inferno, and Thy Flesh Consumed.

Microsoft ban Xbox LIVE user who have played pirate games

Microsoft have confirmed they have taken action against Xbox 360 users with modded consoles who have played pirate games.

The ban will take effect immediately they are taking action using their policy against piracy.

BioShock 2 Hunting the Big Sister Official HD video game Trailer
