Funny Pets:

Absurd Epic Quest:
The philosophy of “Happiness stems from pipe dream” pervades the whole game. What you will meet in the game are various eccentric quests and the “spoof” dialogues. You never know what you will encounter, “Hit the devil and rescue the princess” or “Hit the princess and rescue the devil” - Sorry, you are in my world, what you can do is enjoying it!

Prank system:
You can not foresee that you were to encounter in the Elf Online. Turnning into a little pig while fight with man-eating monsters.

Aeria Games launched Open Beta for Shaiya in North America.

Shaiya is a fantasy Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). Located on a distant planet, Shaiya puts players in the middle of an age-old blood feud between two warring factions: the Union of Fury and the Alliance of Light.

The Closed Beta test phase of Shaiya saw thousands of players joining the fray. While players gained early access to dozens of maps, hundreds of monsters, and over 1,000 quests; Aeria Games gained the assistance of an army of testers.

With the help of the Aeria Games community, potential stumbling blocks were identified and reported. Team Shaiya worked as swiftly as possible to implement fixes and get our players back into the game and launch Open Beta.

“We want to thank the community at Aeria Games for stepping up and helping out,” said Eron Garcia, Shaiya’s Producer, “They played a major role in making Shaiya what it is and offered dozens of solid suggestions for future improvements.
We’re pleased to bring Shaiya back to them.”

Shaiya is a classic-style MMORPG that offers its players:

  • Immersive Environments: From the green hills and blue skies of the Alliance of Light, to the rocky landscape and black clouds of the Union of Fury, the continent of Teos ebbs and flows beneath your feet. Frozen tundra, desert wastelands, glistening lakes, towering trees and even a floating temple await.

  • Addictive Game-play: PvE, PvP and RvR. Players can battle monsters, duel each other, or compete in the massive realm-versus-realm battles for the blessing of their Goddess.

  • Fantasy Elements: Dragons, elves, swords, magic, dramatic music, quests, faithful steeds, and the never-ending of battle of Light versus Darkness all harken back to the roots of role-playing games.

PopCap Launches Peggle and Chuzzle video Games for Apple Mac OS X with 50% OFF

Limited offer 50% off online at http://www.popcap.com/

Front-Runner for Casual Game of 2007 and Winner of Multiple "Casual Game of 2005" Awards Now Available for Macintosh

PopCap Games, the leading developer and publisher of casual games, today announced the immediate availability of its latest hit game Peggle™, and one of its most popular match-3 games Chuzzle™, for the Apple® Macintosh® line of personal computers. Peggle is among the front-runners for casual game of the year, with PC Gamer (UK) Magazine recently naming it one of the “Top 100 Video Games of All Time” and MSNBC.com including Peggle on its “Five Most Addictive Video Games of All Time” list. Both Peggle and Chuzzle run on Mac® OS X versions 10.3 and higher, and each carries a list price of US$19.95 and can be downloaded for free trial play or purchase at www.popcap.com. Both games are Universal Binaries and can be played on both PowerPC and new Intel-based Macs.

“We’re working hard to get our games running natively on Macs and these are two of our biggest titles, so we’re excited to see how they’re received by the Mac audience,” noted Jason Kapalka, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of PopCap. “We’re big Mac fans ourselves, and the OS X versions of Peggle and Chuzzle play just like the PC versions – which is to say, once you start playing, it’s very tough to stop!”

In Peggle, players fire a metallic silver ball from the top of the screen, relying on gravity to propel the ball downwards while ricocheting off orange and blue “pegs”. The goal is to clear all the orange pegs from the screen before running out of balls. A moving “bucket” at the bottom of the screen offers free balls, while green power-up pegs give the player one of ten different abilities courtesy of the ten “Peggle Masters” who guide players through the game. These power-ups include explosive area-clearing blasts, lobster claws which serve as pinball-type flippers, and “fireballs” that cut through all pegs in their path. “But nobody can really be told what Peggle is like,” said Kapalka, “you just have to play it for yourself.” A runaway hit on the Web, available on retail store shelves (PC version only at this time), and now on the Mac, Peggle is the most innovative and unique game of 2007.

In Chuzzle, players slide rows of cute furballs called “chuzzles” to create vertically or horizontally matching sets of three or more chuzzles of the same color, causing the chuzzles to explode with happiness while more chuzzles drop down to take their places. Four different game modes offer a nearly infinite range of challenges across seemingly limitless levels, and giant chuzzles, rainbow chuzzles, super chuzzles and other bonuses help overcome various obstacles. Available on retail store shelves (PC version only at this time), on the Web, on mobile phones and BlackBerry and now on the Mac, Chuzzle received multiple “Casual Game of the Year” awards in 2005, including one from Billboard Magazine’s DEMX Awards.

Codemasters announce Emergency Mayhem video game on Nintendo Wii

Duck for cover as Codemasters puts players in charge of the emergency services in the most accident-prone city of all time!

Set to put the urgency into emergency, Codemasters® today announced Emergency Mayhem exclusively for Wii. Coming Q2 2008, Emergency Mayhem puts the player at the helm of the three emergency services in a frantic race against time to hold together Crisis City, a mad metropolis falling apart at the seams.

Combining chaotic driving sequences with arcade mini-games, you'll be in stitches controlling the frenzied police, fire service or paramedics as they dash around the city from one emergency situation to the next. With over 30 missions, it's a non-stop time crisis where you'll be rescuing people from burning buildings, defusing bombs and more.

However, in this city, the emergencies are of a decidedly slapstick nature; crazy situations will have you hurling bananas at out-of-control monkeys, using a trampoline to bounce escaping prisoners back into custody and herding penguins to safety with hilarious consequences. In a city where there's always an urgent situation calling out for your attention, even those mischievous monkeys will get in your way

In Emergency Mayhem time is your enemy, relentlessly counting down as you take charge of a fire truck, ambulance, or police car to speed through the city's eight different districts to the next emergency. Have you got the nerves necessary to beat the clock and save the city? Find shortcuts, such as making use of the city's underground railways lines and even sewers, to get there on time and save the day.

When you reach the scene of the emergency play switches to one of over 30 mini-games which take unique advantage of the Wii Remote to solve crazy crises. Using the Wii Remote, you'll have to pump the to practice CPR, point it to direct water from a powerful hose, mimic a wrench to bring bursting water-hydrants under control and aim it to fire tranquiliser darts into on-the-rampage monkeys!

Get ready to put down those monkeys and put on the uniform in Q2 2008 when Codemasters launches Emergency Mayhem to the sound of sirens for Wii. If in urgent need of emergency assistance please visit www.codemasters.com/emergency for more information.
